Arriving from the south, you will need to travel into town, take a left turn at the RSA intersection, into Mayfair Avenue. Travel through Mayfair Avenue until you reach the Hetherington Road roundabout, turn left at this roundabout and Breakers Motel is on the right in 100m.

InterCity and other coach services stop in central Whangamata. From the bus stop, Breakers Motel is approximately 2.5 km away on Hetherington Road. Guests can take a short taxi ride (about 5 minutes) or, if travelling light, walk to the motel in around 30 minutes.
